The process involves treating, filtering and drying the air before it comes into contact with the flour, using advanced air dryers or flash cooling methods. Temperature is constantly monitored by sensors interlocked with a dedicated control system, ensuring reliable and consistent cooling. This approach reduces maintenance costs and improves operator safety, making it a superior choice for flour cooling.

In the food industry, constant monitoring of the relative humidity level of the air is essential to ensure the highest quality of the finished product. Dehumidification of the ambient air with the highest level of hygiene is crucial for the transport and storage of flour. Especially for hygroscopic substances, it is essential that the product humidity is as desired for production under all environmental conditions.

DryAir4Food enables air quality and filtration suitable for food contact by using EPA filters that are specially designed for food contact. The resulting air has a moisture level that ensures no condensation inside the machine, even at temperatures below 0 °C.

This technique is specific to fine powdered food ingredients, such as 00 flour, and exploits the physics behind small particles that have a negligible volume relative to the surface area. The surface area promotes heat transfer and ensures that the particles reach thermal equilibrium with the cold air stream in a matter of seconds.
