Unaffected by vibrations, it has been designed by Doteco to blend free flowing pellets in processes that require precise and repeatable dosing with efficient mixing.

The Piovan Fdm GDS series ensures maximum accuracy thanks to extremely reliable load cells. Piovan Fdm customises its solutions according to specific customer requirements.

The Piovan Fdm solution
Piovan Fdm designed together with Fernholz a Siemens PLC-controlled material handling system with two GDS7 loss-in-weight gravimetric dosing units: this enabled both the precise dosing of each system component and the control of the extruder. A centralised vacuum unit was also installed to serve multiple receivers simultaneously.
PiovanGroup equipment has been sold and supported in North America since 1994, with the formation of Piovan Canada Limited in 1994.
